Brief

Focused on continuing its upward trajectory as the global Number 1 Server provider, Dell EMC called on OrangeDoor to launch its latest server product, the PowerEdge MX, to prospects and customers, channel partners and the press.

How we made it amazing

With iconic views of the Thames, Big Ben and Westminster, the Thames Suite in the County Hall was chosen to host this prestigious launch event.

Four separate rooms were set up to cover the event: The main Thames Suite held registration and networking space, with two MX Server VR gamification pods set up for competition throughout the day. A 'clearview' MX server unit - made from Perspex to provide a view of the server internals - was a key focus of the space, driving conversations and intrigue.

The main presentations were held in an adjoining room, with four large projection screens, raised staging and blue uplighters. A silencer video was used to grab attention of the room and kick off the formal part of the day, which started with a general overview of the product attributes then onto a range of detailed technical information, supported by Dell EMC subsidiaries and partners. Two meeting rooms were available for media briefings and customer meetings, allowing for sensitive and NDA conversations.
