 In early 2019, Future Motors Ltd launched its revolutionary SMC smart reluctance motor into the UK market. To launch with a real impact, they asked us to develop their brand strategy, identity, website and corporate assets to give them a brand befitting their innovative product.

After a branding workshop, we had established that the logomark needed to have a sense of progressive motion. In order to work as a marque, we needed to contain that movement within a recognisable shape. This container serves to convey that the brand holds the power of progress and is also reminiscent of a fingerprint - signifying the positive impact on the planet - a key focal point of the brand’s vision and values. 


We kept that sense of motion throughout the design of the website. Bright and optimistic, we chose a colour palette to set the brand apart from other HVAC motor specialists.

The identity is carried through consistently with the printed collateral - on recycled stock of course. 


Within the first month of launching, they have embedded their product into a national grocer and a major UK airport.
