It’s Halloween weekend and here at OrangeDoor we’ve been making enough plans to keep us all terrified until Christmas. From scary films to devilish cocktails, we’ve got you covered.

Here are our top four things to do for the most gruesome night of the year as voted by the gremlins behind the OrangeDoor.

IF YOU'RE TRAVELLING

“A great venue with lots of conversation starters to break the ice… or the skin shall we say!”  Vicky, Events Manager

If you’re feeling particularly brave this Halloween, Airbnb is offering a night at “Dracula’s Castle” hosted by Dacre Stoker, the Irish author’s great nephew. Amongst other frightful activities, you'll be able to enjoy a blood-enriching meal and sleep in velvet-trimmed coffins in the Count Dracula’s Crypt.

IF YOU'RE FEELING CULTURED

"This is the perfect Halloween themed date but it's not for the fainthearted... Just make sure you don't go for dinner afterwards!" Sara, PR and Comms Manager

Hosting a huge collections of human and non-human parts and models, The Hunterian museum is doing a special opening this Halloween where you’ll be able to enjoy a drink from the bar while exploring their collections after hours, learn about the ‘anatomy of a hanging’ and create your own anatomical souvenir at the ‘pickle a part’ workshop. Warning – we’re not talking gherkins!

“There’s nothing like watching a horror film knowing it’s based on true events. Make some popcorn and call your friends because you don’t want to be watching this alone!” Lee, Technical Events Assistant
